Contracts:
We will negotiate and sign all contracts on your behalf in consultation with you. These contracts are binding on all parties. There will be a contract for every job and you should not sign a contract or release form without talking to us first, so that we can ensure you are getting the best possible deal and that your rights are protected.
Payments and Fees:
The fees you will earn for work done vary from job to job. The average fees for an extra on a commercial range from $200 - $400 per day; the fee for someone a little more featured than an extra would be between $500 - $5000. We have experienced fees of tens of thousands of dollars and more but these are not a daily occurrence!! The more on air exposure, the more the fee will be.
You will be advised of the fee for the shoot on booking. Please make sure you are clear on what this is to include
No. of hours to be worked (max 12 in any one day) and if overtime applie
Is there travel to set involved and is this included in the shoot day (applies to distances over 25 km from production base)
Are you required to attend a wardrobe call (usually only an hour or so prior to the shoot day)
Are you required to provide your own wardrobe (you usually are)
Is there a makeup artist on set or should you do your own makeup
Is there a weather cover day
At the completion of the entire shoot and once contracts have been finalised, we hand the file to our accounts department. They invoice the client and once they receive payment will forward payment to you. It is common for payments to take up to 3 months to come through to us, so please be patient – you will be paid. However we must hold an IR330 Tax Code Declaration form on file for you so if you haven’t completed one prior to the job please call us. We will also require a bank account number.
Agents’ commission of 20% will be deducted from any payment along with withholding tax of 20%.as required by the Inland Revenue.
We do not make promises of work but we do promise to do our best for you.
