Kids and Teens Minimize

This is a chance to experience our industry in a safe and supportive environment.  Sharon is a very experienced agent and has worked with and for kids for over 25 years.  Many of our highly successful actors today have been represented by her since they were very young children.

There are exciting opportunities for kids in this industry - great roles that are well paid and the kids (and parents) have a great time.  We have had kids travel to the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Australia - all expenses paid and with a parent along as chaperone.

We cast roles for babies to great grandparents and our kids and teens work in commercials: TV and print, TV shows, films and much more. Current projects for kids include; Huggies, Westpac, Dairy Lea (UK), McDonalds, Farmers, The Warehouse and many many more.

If your child is contemplating an acting or performance career this is a great way to see if they have the talent and fortitude to cope, whether they like working in the industry and most importantly of all if you are happy for them to pursue this as a career. If so we have the skills and experience to help them reach for the stars.

First you must apply and if your child is accepted for representation by us there will be some conditions;

  • If your child is aged 0 - 4 years old you need only provide us with snapshots  but they must be good and follow the guidelines in our Photo Guide (see Talent resources).

  • For children 5 - 7 years old we advise you get professional photos taken.  In Auckland these will cost you $40, in Wellington $85.  However we will acept snapshots provided they are very good.

  • For children 8 years plus you must provide us with professional photos - see costs above.  This is not a huge outlay but will make the difference between success or not.  Also children aged 8 and above must, unless they have experience, attend a short audition skills workshop.  This will ensure they have to necessary tools to score those great jobs.

To apply - please email us.  We require the following information:

Name of Applicant:

Age:

The photo you submit is important. Please read the following carefully.

One (and only one please)  head and shoulder photo of the child smiling and looking at the camera -A snapshot is fine at this stage - you do not need a professional photo.  Please do not send us a photo of them with a group of friends - your child should be the only person in the photo.  We need a smiley shot of him or her looking at the camera.  We need to see clearly what they look like - face and eye shape and teeth,

Also tell us a bit about them - what you want to achieve by getting an agent for your child (or what your child wants), the kind of work they are interested in, their sports and hobbies etc.
